Trio En has advanced to the semifinal round of the 2021 Annual Coltman Nationwide Chamber Music Competition. Coltman Chamber Competition provides performance experience and expert commentary to advanced chamber ensembles along with cash prizes, scholarships and performance oppotunities.
Due to pandemic, this year's competition will be held virtually via Zoom webinar on March 3th, 2021 at 5pm CST and it will be free to attend.

FEATURED AT SALON CONCERT 2021 - MUSIC FROM THE TIME OF THE 1918 PANDEMIC
Salon Concerts is an organization that commits to serving the greater Austin community with excellence in chamber music performance and education.
The mission of Salon Concerts is to foster appreciation and enjoyment of classical chamber music through education and performance. Salon Concerts cultivates the next generation of artists and audiences through increasing exposure and accessibility to chamber music experiences.
Trio En is excited to be part of the 1918 pandemic chamber series and will be performing Tailleferre's Piano Trio.
It will be held virtually on 02/28/2021 at 5pm CST.
This series features Anton Nel, Sandy Yamamoto, and other great musicians.

EXCITING AND IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Trío Rouge has recently changed their name to Trio En.
We recently discovered that there is a piano trio from London that has the name Trio Rouge; in order to avoid any legal trouble, we have been searching for new name for our group and have found an amazing and unique name, Trio En.
The phrase "En" can be translated to mean unity, connection, fate, and is also the name of the Albanian god of fire.
PRIZE WINNER OF 2020 FISCHOFF NATIONAL CHAMBER COMPETITION - INSTAGRAM TAKE OVER
Trío Rouge has recently won the Silver Medal of the Senior String Division at the 2020 Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition in USA. The Fischoff National Chamber Music Association sponsors the nation's largest chamber music competiton, and is America's premier educational chamber music competition.
Winners of the Fischoff Chamber Competition 2020 get to take over Fischoff 's official Instagram page for a day to share their stories and interact with people through media.
Trio En will be taking over the page on October 9th, 2020.

ADVANCED TO SEMIFINAL ROUND OF 2020 CONCERT ARTISTS GUILD VICTOR ELMALEH COMPETITION
Trío Rouge has recently advanced to the semifinal round of 2020 Concert Artists Guild Victor Elmaleh Competition. CAG is a management competition that empowers musicians and launches careers that are sustainable, unique and relevant. Through mentorship and performance opportunities, they identify and develop young artists who will make an impact in the world through music. Since 1951, CAG has helped more than 500 young musicians launch careers. Winners of CAG’s annual competition receive comprehensive management support, New York performances, concert bookings and professional career development and coaching.

PRIZE WINNER OF 2020 MTNA NATIONAL CHAMBER COMPETITION
Trío Rouge has won First Prize in the Chamber Music String Division at the 2020 MTNA National Chamber Competition. MTNA is an organization of over 20,000 independent and collegiate music teachers commited to futhering the art of music through teaching, performance, composition and scholarly research.

Trío Rouge has advanced to the semifinal round of the 7th Annual Coltman Nationwide Chamber Music Competition. Coltman Chamber Competition provides performance experience and expert commentary to advanced chamber ensembles along with cash prizes, scholarships and performance oppotunities. Two members of Trío Rouge, Nick Hammel and Chan Song An, were involved in another string quartet called Favola String Quartet and their group won the Grand Prize and First Prize at the 7th Annual Coltman Chamber Music Competition.
